JJ’s Rockin Cupcakes teamed up with The Michael J. Fox Foundation for an evening to raise money for Parkinson’s research and we went to help celebrate this great cause. Mini cupcakes were the feature that night and we were able to choose our icing! Cupcake flavors included chocolate & banana, carrot, red velvet, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and cookies & cream. The icing flavors to choose from were chocolate, PB mousse, double stuff Oreo, whipped cream, nilla nilla, vanilla, and cream cheese.
We decided to try a cookies & cream with double stuffed icing, carrot with cream cheese, strawberry with PB mousse (Amanda’s “PB & J” creation), and chocolate banana with PB mousse (Beth’s creation). These little cuties were delicious and moist with thick icing all around. We were also treated to a Oreo shot! Now that’s our kind of drink!
It was such a special evening. Being on the roof of a huge financial district building and seeing incredible views of the Freedom Tower was magnificent. Only in New York.
